Fawn Mckay
Fawn Brodie McKay born September 15, 1915 was raised in Ogden Utah. Fawn MCKAY, raised in the Mormon Church's First Family, employed her creative talents and expertise in research to write the fascinating psycho-historical biographical biography of Joseph Smith. Published in 1945, under the name"No Man knows My History, she used both. This title is taken from the funeral sermon given by Joseph Smith, the founding father of the Church of Latter-Day Saints. His audience was shocked by his saying: "You don't even know my name. There is no way to know my heart." No man knows my history. I'm not able to tell my story. I wrote the 29-year-old Fawn in the moment when he spoke, about three dozen writers have picked up the gauntlet. Many have mocked and denigrated him, while others attempt to identify the problem. The problem isn't because there's not enough evidence but they're rather divergent. In order to assemble these documentsand separate the firsthand stories from plagiarism by third parties, and then fit Mormon as well as non Mormon accounts together into a reliable mosaic isn't an simple job. It's both thrilling, and it's enlightening. Fawn Brodie's career was dedicated to this goal. Her writings and research brought her fame around the world: Thaddeus Stephens. The Devil Drives (1959) Scourge Of The Southern Thomas Jefferson. Richard Nixon, An Intimate historical account (1974), posthumous.
